Honourable Nancy Tembo, M.P., Minister of Foreign Affairs, has called on Malawians to emulate the great example of integrity that the Late Ambassador Charles Msosa demonstrated in his career. Honourable Tembo was speaking on behalf of His Excellency Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi, during the funeral service of the Late Ambassador at Kaning'a CCAP in Area 47 on 2nd May, 2022. 
Honourable Tembo noted that the Late Ambassador was mourned by the many people he touched while alive.
Ambassador Msosa passed away in Ethiopia on 25th April, 2022, after a short illness. 
This was Ambassador Msosa's second tour of duty after serving as a Malawi Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from 2013 to 2015.
He has been laid to rest in Area 18 in Lilongwe.
He is survived by a wife, three children and a grandchild.
