On 25th October, 2022, Honourable Nancy Tembo, M.P., Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Malawi received in audience His Excellency Mr. Long Zhou, Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China to Malawi. Honourable Tembo appreciated the continued cordial relations existing between the governments of Malawi and the People's Republic of China. She also took the opportunity of the meeting to congratulate the People's Republic of China for successfully conducting the 20th Chinese Communist Party National Congress during which His Excellency Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, was re-elected as party general secretary.
